I honest hate maths and sciences--the requirements for getting into the programming field--and pretty much suck at them, but actual coding is pretty easy. If you've got interest and logic, I really doubt you'd do badly at it. In conclusion, it's very realistic. Look into creating your own FPS's if that would solidify your interest. Html doesn't really have anything to do with actual software development, so I'd recommend you skip that.
